DRIVERS are as much distracted by "old technology" as by new gadgets, according to a survey. Pirelli has launched an iPhone app for motorcyclists that tracks speed, lean angle, road routes and racetrack lap times. The results can be shared via social media. The app, named Diablo Super Biker, uses the phone's GPS and g meter to calculate and record the info.
Car-rental company Hertz has added electric vehicles to its fleet in San Francisco, available to members of the Hertz On Demand program.
